Starting a new chapter!

Hello Friends :)

I have had this blog for a while and haven't really done anything really with it. I have been contemplating on how to use it. I have been starting a lot of new things (hobbies, jobs, etc.) so I decided that I would start blogging about what I am working on and my life.

I had started sewing a few months back and I loved it. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of patience when it comes to that so I gave it up just as fast as I started it. Well a couple of weeks ago I got inspired again. I actually love to sew! I have been sewing in my living room with all my kids running around screaming and playing and it has been wonderful! I finished my first skirt yesterday. Yes, it did take me almost all day to master technique and almost master sewing a straight line, but I actually accomplished it.

You see I have Adult Attention Deficit Disorder..... Lol Well I have been diagnosed by my husband, and I do agree with him. I like to start things and not finish because I either get bored or frustrated. So I had to put my all into it yesterday. I had to get past the frustration and just put my mind to it and do it! I was so happy at 9 p.m. last night when I actually finished my skirt. I felt accomplished and actually felt like I could do anything. Weird to many yes, because some may see it as a little thing, but me I see it as a New Chapter in my life that I am so exited to start.

I have recently been inspired by many fellow sewers on Facebook, that actually have their own little businesses. One is La' Monique Boutique, a wonderful lady who makes the most adorable little summer dresses for little girls. Another is Dainty Button, I have been obsessed with her accessories since I found her. I have told everyone I know about her awesome creations. Also, another lady who has a similar hobbie as mine is Jennifer Anderson-Wiggins, she sews the cutest little outfits for her kids and also sells them on Etsy. My other inspiration has been Evy's Tree hoodies, she has the cutest hoodies that I have ever seen. I love her designs, she is so unique in her style. Now for those of you thinking that I am going to start making hoodies or headbands, that is not my plan. I just got inspired by these ladies that are stay at home mom's and still find time to be creative and use their skills. This as always been my dream!
So, here is where my journey starts. I am going to start designing and sewing cute little dresses for my daughter's. For those of you who don't know I have three beautiful daughters Madysen 5, Kiera 3, and Briseis 2. Each of them make my life so much better, they all have their own unique personalities and brighten my day. So, I am going to start off by making them clothes. My intention is not to copy anybody's ideas or designs. I intend on putting my own little spin on it all.

I am so very excited for this new chapter in my life and if you are remotely interested, you are welcome to come along for the ride. It's going to be very exciting. Well at least for me.

Below are pictures of the clothes or accessories from the people that have inspired me.
